Don’t buy overpriced and over-produced home decor. DIY with earth-kind products from Michaels and Up® Paint.
How to Enter
Requirements:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your submission's category (Furniture or Home Decor)
- A detailed description of your project, focusing on the earth-kind elements of your project (including any Michaels and/or Up® Paint products you may have used)
- Before and after photos (Videos are optional) of your project
- Inspo images for your project

A panel of judges from Michaels, Up® Paint, and DIY influencers will judge entries based on your project’s creativity and originality, craftsmanship, sustainability, transformation, and narrative (see below for more info)
Judging Criteria
For each of the categories – Furniture and Home Decor – our judges will review submissions based on the following criteria:
30% Creativity and Originality
How unique is your project?
30% Craftmanship
What is the quality of work, attention to detail, finish of your project?
20% Sustainability
What earth-kind products or processes went into creating your project?
10% Transformation
How dramatic / impressive is the before and after?
10% Narrative
How compelling is the story you have created with your furniture / decor?
