We love this color. It's not too pink, and the warm undertones go with the exposed red brick in our living room perfectly. It helps the room feel bright during the day and cozy at night. It's the perfect warm off-white. Get a sample, because it's hard to tell from pictures alone how it works with the light. If you are painting over a darker color, use a primer first so that the paint dries evenly and you don't have to do so many coats.
A couple of clients suggested I start a YouTube chanel showcasing my interior design concepts & my techniques along with my furniture artistry business. Deciding I would make my first video using nothing but your products. After preparing a wall and getting a new piece ready for paint, I realized Michael's was the only retailer of your products. I woke up early Saturday and headed to Michael's and was very upset and let down to see that your products were on the clearance aisle and all that was left was 3 cans of Venetian plaster and 2 bottles of Ivory metallic paint and I bought them all. I was unable to get any of your paint waxes or application tools such as your brushes or trowel. When I get my hands on the tools and products of yours that I am missing, I will create a stunning piece of furniture and a signature wall finish, create my video and at that time I will be more than happy to leave a product & performance review. But right now I really can't do too much with Venetian plaster and two bottles of metallic paint. I'm in no way leaving this comment to speak negatively about your business and it's products, I wanted to bring awareness to you about Michael's, as I didn't know if you knew about your products just sitting in the back on a clearance rack.
They sent old, shop work rollers that were turning yellow from sun exposure. I’m not impressed.
I used Lake Michigan on the wall, ceiling, and back of door in the bathroom. Was going for a calming space that felt like being in water. It's a beautiful, rich, moody blue. This is the first room Ive painted in a long time, and I thought it was a smooth experience. Also, as someone from Chicago, I was drawn to the name (but we all know the better beaches are in Indy and Michigan).
First time using Up paint, it is smooth and easy to work with. I have used their brush in the past and loved it. Enjoyed this project.
I hand painted a piece because of the couple of rain storms in Southern California (which Never happens) so it forced me to move inside the house in order to finish for the contest. Much to my surprise brushing gave a flawless finish. This paint has a long open time, blends beautifully and is self leveling plus it is readily available at my local Michael’s store. I am now a BIG fan of UP Paint and will make it my go to paint.

When I found this bookshelf I instantly knew it could be transformed into a cute bookshelf for a toddler or young kid. Shortly after picking up this piece I heard about the up paint contest and felt like the three chalk paint colors I used were absolutely perfect! I heard about this sustainable paint and wanted to try it on an old dresser that needed to be refinished - so easy to apply and was really good coverage. I did two coats with a light sand in between but It looked covered after the first coat. I used their brush to apply it and it was super nice
This chalk paint was easy to work with. It self leveled really well giving a smooth finish. The color was beautiful. I love the recycle ethics behind the company too. I hope they add more colors soon.
